A study of a male Eurasian Eagle Owl, one of the largest of the owl species in Europe. They are incredibly
fast and powerful, therefore quite the adept hunters - naturally feared amongst small mammals. They can weigh up to 3kg and have a wingspan of 155-175cm. The reference photo was taken at the Highland Wildlife Park, Kincraig, Scotland.
