Tuis are undeniably one of our most stunning New Zealand native birds, they are always a joy to hear singing their hearts out when you come across them. I have lived at Rarangi for over 10 years now and for the very first time they have started visiting, after planting some trees that attract tui and bellbird.

Artwork is from my own reference photographs, taken at Zealandia Eco Sanctuary, Wellington.  

Currently being exhibited at Eden Gallery, Rapaura

I thoroughly enjoyed with on this artwork, and am really pleased with how this painting turned out, and love the large scale presence!
